Recent Absence

Hi there! How have you all been? As you may have noticed there hasn't been anything posted here recently.

A week last Tuesday John, James and I cycled round the Firth, we set off from the Palace and cycled along this side of the Firth, on to Beauly, via Kirkhill. By the time we got to North Kessock, we were quite thirsty so we popped into Kessock Hotel for some refreshment. Then we went into the Palace Hotel for a swim and relaxation.

I've been away in Lewis for a week, where we attended the Hebridean Celtic Festival, which was terrific. I had planned to cycle over but time was not on my side for that so we put the bike carrier on the car and took the bikes over, hoping to do some cycling while we were there. We did go out once and cycled around the village, visiting Muirneag Art Gallery and also some relatives along the way. It was good to get out even for a short while.

Since returning to Inverness, John has started cycling to work! So he's done that for a couple of days now and we were out for another short spin on Saturday, we went over to Tore and back home again. I reckon around 16 miles though I haven't checked it yet.

Talk to you soon and feel free to comment.

Tina
